Rapfogel receives awards in the 2006 Photography Review Annual Competition and
in the 2006 Photographer's Forum Annual, both prestigious national competitions.
Rapfogel's images were chosen
from among 4,800 and 20,000 entries respectively. Illustrated (right) is
the Photography Review selection, entitled Child Laborer, Calcutta. The
juror for this competition was the photography curator of the Corcoran Museum.
Rapfogel was also awarded First Prize in Landscape in the 2006
Appalachian Mountain Photography Competition. He has won Grand Prize
or First Prizes in each of the first three years of this competition.
